Atena Equity Partners enters the Spanish market with the acquisition of Manufacturas Polisac, a company specialising in the manufacture and marketing of technical films and flexible plastic packaging

The acquisition of Manufacturas Polisac is in addition to that of the Portuguese company Plastrofa, thus creating an Iberian group with a turnover of more than 24 million euros and 130 employees.

With production in Portugal and Spain, the group exports to more than a dozen countries. Its solutions allow plastic consumption to be reduced by 70% compared to conventional rigid plastic packaging, attracting customers in countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, Germany and Belgium.

 

The creation of an Iberian group allows for strong commercial and operational synergies, reinforcing the group’s ability to respond to the needs of its current customers and grow by attracting new customers nationally and internationally.
