Week 25 of 2026: Key M&A and Private Equity Transactions in Spain
Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity activity in Spain continue to show strong momentum in 2026. Week 25 was marked by significant transactions across sectors such as engineering, technology, industrials, services and distribution, highlighting a clear trend towards inorganic growth, sector consolidation and international expansion.
Below is a summary of some of the most notable deals:
- Ufenau Capital Partners AG has completed the merger of two of its portfolio companies, Kanalservice Gruppe Group and Spain-based Grupo SASTI, creating a unified entity. The transaction aims to strengthen market positioning, expand service offerings and drive operational efficiencies.
- INCOSA (owned by Waterland Private Equity) and JG Ingenieros S.A. have agreed to merge, forming a leading Spanish engineering group with more than 800 professionals.
- Ibernova (Kartesia, GTO Partners) has acquired Catalan firm TAI Smart Factory, which generated €3.5 million in revenue in 2025 and employs 44 people. The deal allows Ibernova to strengthen its presence in Latin America, leveraging TAI’s operations in Colombia and its reach across Ecuador, Peru, Panama and Mexico.
- French group LABELYS GROUP has acquired Spanish company Adhesivos Romero García S.L., marking its fourth acquisition in Spain. The target employs around 80 people, operates a 4,000 m² facility and reported €13.05 million in revenue in 2025.
- ACOMO N.V. has announced the acquisition of Citromil S.L., a Spanish family-owned company specializing in the sourcing and processing of organic citrus fruits. The transaction strengthens ACOMO’s position in the organic ingredients segment and the citrus market.
- Grupo Assista, a Spanish services and construction group, has expanded its maintenance business through the acquisition of SEGMAN Servicios y Gestión del Mantenimiento S.L., a company previously owned by Europ Assistance (Generali) specializing in maintenance and auxiliary services.
- Alantra Private Equity, through its portfolio company AIVORIQ, has acquired two additional dental laboratories, bringing the group to more than 20 labs across Spain and reaching close to €40 million in revenue since its 2024 investment.
- Darlim, a leading Spanish distributor of professional hygiene and cleaning solutions, has acquired EuroChem, a chemical manufacturer based in Valladolid. The transaction strengthens its presence in north-west Spain and expands its industrial capacity, with a workforce now exceeding 120 employees.
- RealTime Reservation has acquired STAY, combining their technologies to create a leading global guest experience platform.
- Valencian technology group Lãberit has acquired Gloin, a software engineering firm based in Cáceres specializing in custom web and mobile development. The deal adds €1.2 million in annual revenue and a team of 19 professionals.
