BUSINESS BREAKFAST TOGETHER WITH FORO DE FOROS

Success of the First “M&A and Private Equity Circle” Breakfast with FORO DE FOROS

Last 7th May, together with FORO DE FOROS, we hosted the first breakfast event of the “M&A and Private Equity Circle”, a new forum designed to explore the latest trends in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity.

Industry Experts in a High-Level Setting

For this first edition, we were joined by our partner Francisco Hidalgo-Barquero and a distinguished guest, Eduardo García-Oliveros Serrano, Investment Director at Anta Asset Management.

Both speakers shared valuable insights into the current M&A landscape, highlighting the sustained growth of the market and the increasing number of investors interested in acquiring companies. This growing diversity of investor profiles is helping to ensure business continuity and drive sector specialization.

M&A Trends: Increased Competition and Evolving Value Propositions

In a context where business owners receive countless offers every day—via calls, emails, and even WhatsApp messages—investors must differentiate themselves more than ever.

During the session, several key ideas emerged:

  • Innovation in value propositions is essential to connect with company owners.
  • Beyond financial metrics, commitment, trust, and strategic alignment play a decisive role.
  • The ability to execute the business plan is a critical success factor in M&A transactions.

Acknowledgements and Upcoming Events

We would like to thank all attendees for joining us, Eduardo García-Oliveros for generously sharing his experience and expertise, and Margarita López Medrano for her outstanding organization.

We are already working on upcoming editions of this series, as well as additional events focused on investment and corporate development.

Stay tuned for our upcoming announcements.
