Albia Participates in the IMAP Spring Conference 2026 in Dublin
From April 16 to 18, IMAP held its Spring Conference 2026 in Dublin, an international event that brought together more than 100 mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experts from around the world. This annual conference has established itself as one of the leading global forums for the exchange of knowledge, market trends, and international collaboration opportunities within the sector.
Representing Albia, partners Aitor Cayero and Fran Hidalgo‑Barquero attended the event and actively participated in working sessions and meetings with international partners. During the conference, discussions focused on the main global M&A trends, with particular emphasis on cross‑border transactions, growth strategies, and the evolution of the mid‑market.
IMAP Strengthens Its Global Position in International M&A
The international dimension of the event reflects IMAP’s strong global positioning. In the first quarter of 2026, the network ranked fourth worldwide by number of transactions below €500 million, according to Refinitiv data and IMAP internal sources. Notably, approximately 50% of these transactions involved an international component, highlighting the growing importance of cross‑border deals within the group’s overall activity.
Recognition for Albia and New Value‑Adding Initiatives
During the conference, the Albia team received internal recognition, with one of its mandates being awarded best transaction in its category, a milestone that reinforces the firm’s contribution within the IMAP network. In addition, Albia took part in technology and marketing update sessions, aimed at sharing best practices, innovative initiatives, and tools that add value for clients and partners at an international level.
A Key Event for Global Collaboration
Once again, the IMAP Spring Conference demonstrated the strength of a global network built on collaboration, shared knowledge, and professional excellence. Thank you to IMAP for the excellent organization and for fostering an environment that promotes joint growth and the development of new opportunities in international M&A.
