• KBV Group has become a prominent player in Spain and Portugal in premium kitchen furniture after acquiring DOCA Muebles. This move is part of a strategic growth initiative by Abac Capital, which previously merged OB Cocinas and Delta Cocinas to form KBV.
• Mirai Investments, has acquired two Catalan companies, LABORATORIOS COPER SL and JUMSA COSMETIC SL, which specialize in manufacturing cosmetic and perfumery products. Mirai plans to end 2024 with an aggregated turnover exceeding 210 million euros, employing about 1,000 people across its diversified sectors.
• Ayrtac Machinery, based in Aragon, acquired EasyTech S.a.S. , an Italian company specialized in food industry machinery. This acquisition allows Ayrtac to enhance its product range and service offerings, particularly in high-vacuum packaging technologies.
• TFG Marine has agreed to acquire majority ownership of Spanish bunkering company VILMA OIL S.L. Over the last eighteen years Vilma Oil has developed a first-class bunkering service from the Port of Ceuta in the Strait of Gibraltar in the European West Mediterranean Sea.
• Zucchetti Spain, Soluciones TI has acquired iArchiva, a company specializing in the automation of document processes. This move strengthens Zucchetti’s presence in the market, enhancing their offerings with advanced document management solutions.
• Roca Group has expanded its product offerings by acquiring the Swiss company Nosag and the Polish company IneoCare, both specializing in adaptability solutions for bathrooms aimed at individuals with reduced mobility.
• Eurofred Group has sold its commercial refrigeration business, Horeca Global Solutions, to Danish firm TEFCOLD. This decision allows Eurofred to focus on its core climate and refrigeration businesses.
• INNOVASUR has acquired the e-commerce technology company Urbecom, enhancing its focus on intelligent commerce solutions.
• Kirey Group has acquired the Spanish system integrator GRUPO SOLUTIO, enhancing its presence in Spain’s IT sector.
• Folder, a stationery chain, has acquired ALMACENES CAYPE SA, a Vitoria-based company with over fifty years in the sector. This acquisition aims to expand Folder’s geographic reach in the Basque Country. With this acquisition, Folder now operates over 150 stores across Spain and aims to increase its total to 160, targeting €100 million in revenue this year.
