Week 14 (2024) in M&A and Private Equity

• Once For All (GTCR LLC), a European player in supply chain compliance and sustainable sourcing solutions for the built environment, announced the acquisition of Madrid-based Nalanda Global (PSG).
• DIGI has sold part of its fiber optic network in Spain to Onivia (Macquarie Group, abrdn y Arjun Infrastructure Partners) for €750 million, covering 6 million fiber optic accesses, of which 4.25 million are already deployed.
• Montero | Aramburu Abogados and GVA Gómez-Villares & Atencia have merged to create the largest law firm in Andalusia. The merge positions the combined entity as one of Spain’s leading law firms by revenue, professional staff, and client base. Together, sales amount to €28 million, a team of 360 people and ten offices across Andalusia, the Canary Islands, and Madrid.
• knowmad mood has acquired Interwor, a technology consulting firm specializing in IT infrastructure, communications, and security services.
• ESCRIBANO MECHANICAL & ENGINEERING, a Spanish defense company, has expanded its capabilities by acquiring aunav from NTT DATA. Aunav specializes in robotics technology for military and security applications.

• Grupo EYSA, a Spanish technology company dedicated to sustainable mobility management, has acquired Net4Things, known for its real-time data ingestion technology from connected vehicles.
• French group SEPTEO has acquired Witbooking, a technology company specializing in booking engines for tourism establishments, adding it to its ‘hospitality’ vertical. This follows the acquisition of ACIGrup in February.
• The Israeli investment fund MDSR has purchased a portfolio of 22 supermarkets in Spain for €120 million, 21 of which are operated by Carrefour, totaling nearly 110,000 square meters of rentable space.
• Sedgman Pty Limited, a member of the CIMIC Group Limited (ACS), has acquired engineering company Minsol. The acquisition is Sedgman’s third in the critical minerals processing sector.
• Panalon S.A. has acquired a majority stake in the Portuguese transport company @Adriano Barbosa de Azevedo, Lda (ABA Transportes), specializing in the transport of powders and granules.
