• Normedan, a company specialized in hospital logistics, has joined Palex Medical to strengthen the Hospital Management Solutions Unit. The Navarra-based company, founded in 1998, has a high capacity to create customized solutions for the management of pharmacy and hospital supplies.
• Bertrandt Group continues to strengthen its progressive internationalization as well as its expertise in non-automotive indust ries with the acquisition of the Spanish company CENTUM Digital. The company focuses on quality assurance, cyber security and systems engineering, among other things.
• RESINAS OLOT SL, a company from Girona dedicated to the manufacture of outdoor furniture, strengthens its industrial structure with the acquisition of the plastic injection companies SERT PLASTICS SA and PLASTISERT FORM SA.
• Sesé continues to advance its growth and expansion strategy. The company, based in Zaragoza, has announced the integration of KIT ONLINE.SL, a company specialized in automotive components with which it will increase and strengthen its activity in the automotive industrial line in Spain.
• UNIVERSAL SLEEVE SL, Catalan company that two years ago bought the label specialist Adco, acquires a majority percentage of the shares of Barcelona-based BOLSAPLAST, dedicated to the manufacture of flexible packaging.
• DAW SE integrates the Madrid distributor UNI-Her into its group of companies in Spain. The integration of this distributor, with its entire staff and network of stores, represents a significant investment in the consolidation of DAW’s growth in Spain.
• The French group Massilly, one of the main European conglomerates in the world of metal packaging, reinforces its presence in the Spanish market with the acquisition of a majority stake in ENVASES METALICOS EUROBOX SL.
• Veolia, through Seureca, its Consulting Engineering and Strategic and Operational Assistance division, announces the acquisition of MRC Consultants and Transaction Advisers. MRC is an energy consulting firm, based in Spain and the United Kingdom and active in over 30 countries.
• Mahou San Miguel reinforces its commitment to the Canary Islands: it acquires Dismarex. This market accounts for between 5 and 6% of its beer business, a figure that would increase if water was included, thanks to Fonteide.
• Squirrel Media, a corporation present in the business of audiovisual content production, advertising and media, has closed the acquisition of 100% of IKI Group , the largest independent advertising agency in Spain.
