TINTOREMUS AND EL GANSO IN OUR LAST CAÑAX EVENT

On March 26, we had the opportunity to host a new edition of our monthly Cañax event at the Hogar Extremeño de Madrid, once again turning the venue into a meeting point for executives, entrepreneurs, and investors interested in business growth, innovation, and industrial transformation.

This event, now well established as a forum for networking and strategic thinking, was promoted by our Madrid office partners, Francisco Hidalgo-Barquero and Ricardo Dávila, proud natives of Extremadura, who championed a session especially focused on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and long-term value creation.

Tintoremus: Sustainability, Industry, and a Forward-Looking Vision

This edition featured the participation of TINTOREMUS and its founders, Clemente Cebrián Mosquera and Lola López Fernández, who shared the story and business project of a pioneering company based in Extremadura.

Founded in 2022, Tintoremus is dedicated to the cultivation and production of natural indigo and other plant-based dyes and currently operates the largest plantation of its kind in Europe. Its value proposition focuses on transforming the textile industry through the use of natural dyes, offering a real and scalable alternative to traditional synthetic dyes.

During the session, Clemente—also founder of the iconic fashion brand EL GANSO—and Lola explained the challenges and opportunities involved in developing a sustainable, knowledge-intensive industrial project with clear growth ambitions.

Growth, Investment, and M&A Opportunities

Projects such as Tintoremus illustrate how sustainability, technological innovation, and brand positioning can become key drivers of growth, both organic and inorganic. Companies of this nature are attracting increasing interest from:

  • Private equity and venture capital funds
  • Industrial groups pursuing diversification strategies
  • Buy-and-build strategies in the consumer and textile sectors
  • Investors with a strong focus on ESG and the circular economy

High-Quality Networking in a Close-Knit Setting

The event concluded with a cocktail reception that allowed conversations to continue in a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging the exchange of ideas, experiences, and contacts among attendees.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the talk and the subsequent networking session, as well as the Hogar Extremeño de Madrid for hosting us once again.

We remain committed to these gatherings as spaces that foster connections between talent, business, and investment, which are essential to generating opportunities in the mergers and acquisitions market and supporting companies with distinctive projects and high growth potential.
