IMAP Albia Capital provides advice to FONCASAL regarging the incorporation of BRASMAR GROUP as a strategic partner


IMAP Albia Capital has provided advice to the shareholders of  AGROCOMPLEX-FONCASAL regarding the incorporation of the portuguese group BRASMAR as a strategic partner of the company.

The entry of this partner,  which has acquired 100% of the share capital, is aimed at consolidating the presence of the company  in the mediterranean and North American markets where FONCASAL has an important presence.


The Foncasal Group is dedicated to the transformation and sale of products derived from octopus and other cephalopods. With headquarters in Logroño, it has 10,000 m 2 of facilities equipped with the most advanced production equipment.

With a turnover close to 20 M Euros, it has been able to gain an important place in the market for quality products, with exports being more than 50% of sales.


BRASMAR is a Portuguese group specialized in the processing, distribution and sale of frozen fish and seafood. With sales of more than 200 M Euros, it is the largest reference in southern Europe in frozen fish products. Its Partner , the Private Equity MCH fund, has the financial resources to carry out the growth project, in which the FONCASAL operation is framed.
