Albia IMAP, a leading firm in the Spanish market specialized in advice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financing and corporate development for companies in the middle market segment, has advised Aldous on the incorporation of Nazca as a strategic partner, through its Nazca Small Cap II fund.
Aldous is the leading brand in Spain in food supplements. Founded in 2018 in Almonacid del Marquesado (Cuenca), Aldous has established itself as the best-selling food supplement brand in Spain on both Amazon and TikTok, as well as becoming the first digitally native company in the sector to successfully expand into physical commerce.
Today, its products are available through retailers such as Druni, El Corte Inglés, Herbolario Navarro and Costco, further reinforcing its successful omnichannel strategy. Aldous has also reached more than three million customers who incorporate its products into their wellness routines, reinforcing its position as one of the main players in the Spanish supplement market
The company has developed a broad portfolio of more than 80 products, recognized for their quality, functionality and the solid scientific evidence that supports their ingredients. Innovation remains at the core of its strategy, reflected both in the continuous development of new products and the launch of entirely new ranges, including powdered supplements and ready-to-drink single-dose liquid formats.
This capacity for innovation is complemented by a differentiated sustainability proposal based on product formats, plastic-free packaging and a strong commitment to the creation of employment opportunities in rural communities.
This position has enabled the company to achieve significant growth, with revenues expected to exceed €40 million this year, more than doubling 2025 sales.
Nazca’s investment supports an ambitious growth plan aimed at reaching €100 million in annual revenue by strengthening the brand in its existing sales channels, continuing to expand its product offering and accelerating international growth.
The plan also includes the construction of a new production plant, which will create a significant number of jobs in Almonacid del Marquesado (Cuenca), reinforcing Aldous´s long-standing commitment to generating employment in the town where it was founded, which has less than 500 inhabitants.
Antonio Pellón, founder and CEO of Aldous, commented:
“Nazca investment represents a major step towards building a leading European brand while preserving the essence of Aldous Bio and our commitment to creating employment in Cuenca. We are convinced that Nazca is the right partner for this next stage of growth, bringing extensive sector expertise while sharing our vision, ambition and way of working. We would also like to thank Km Zero for the journey we have shared together. Without their support, Aldous would not have become the leading food supplements brand in the Spanish market.”
Celia Pérez-Beato, executive director of Nazca, added:
“Aldous is a perfect fit with our investment strategy: a company founded and led by a first-class entrepreneur, with a differentiated value proposition and significant potential to become a leading pan-European brand. We have strong conviction in the long-term growth of the nutraceutical sector, where our successful track record and industry expertise can help accelerate Aldous next stage of development.”
